Retreat to Dogwood Hill Bed & Breakfast, where you'll find comfy rooms, free wifi, a Leisure Bay Spa hot tub, relaxing porch rockers, walking paths through wooded acres, delicious food and friendly, accommodating hosts.

Each room has a queen-size pillow-top bed, private bath with tub/shower, separate inside and outside locking entries, views of the woods, luxurious robes, hair dryer, clock radio, satellite TV and welcoming décor. See the ACCOMMODATIONS page for details.

Enjoy full country breakfasts featuring French toast, waffles or egg dishes, with a wide selection of juices, fresh fruits, meats and an array of accompaniments including homemade jams, breads and muffins. Other options include luscious smoothies, fresh apple oatmeal and lactose-intolerant, sugar-free, or gluten-free recipes. We'll ask about your favorite things and perhaps surprise you with something special.

We encourage you to be comfortable. We have a few pieces that belonged to Grandma but no Victorian antiques you'd be afraid to sit on! Be at ease and feel free to unwind, while we furnish the pampering.

We'll greet you with refreshments, show you to your room, provide advice about local restaurants and sights and let you relax. We can assist you with advance tee times or spa appointments nearby. Or just stay on the property, walking the wooded trails and relaxing on the porch or in the hot tub.

Our rates won't make you uncomfortable either. Go to ACCOMMODATIONS for room and rate information.

Dogwood Hill Bed & Breakfast is located outside Tyler, six miles north of Interstate 20, half way between Dallas, Texas, and Shreveport, Louisiana. It's just a bit over an hour and a half from downtown Dallas or Shreveport. See CONTACT/MAP for driving instructions. Caution: Darkness falls early on wooded country roads. Please be careful on FM 14 and FM 16. They have curves and hills that limit vision.

We're far enough in the country to enjoy the stars and the quiet but close enough to dining and things you want to do or see. Make Dogwood Hill your home base for a visit to Tyler's Rose Garden and other attractions, First Monday shopping in Canton, antiquing in Mineola or a weekend of golf.
